Have you heard of GoodSearch? It’s a site that works just like any other search engine (this one is powered by Yahoo) but you get a great benefit. $.01 is donated to the charity of your choice (of those registered with the site) every time you use the engine.
They have links that allow you to add a search bar to IE or Firefox.
