Jobsite Theater officially takes aim at Cinderella, the Frog Prince and Iron Hans, turning the characters into source material for its latest original production, Grimm’s Faery Tales. But before the cast publicly defiles your favorite bedtime stories in full costume and make-up, they want to know what you think. As part of the Tampa Bay Performing Art Center’s Breaking New Ground: A Reading Series of New Plays, Jobsite actors test out Grimm’s Faery Tales with the script as their only prop. Afterwards, the floor is opened for criticism and feedback from the audience. So go out, have fun and see what this homegrown theater company has to offer. Tues., June 13, 7 p.m., Shimberg Playhouse, 1010 N. MacInnes Place, Tampa, $5 general/free to members, 813-229-7827.
NB: Grimm’s Faery Tales is NOT FOR KIDS. No foolin’. They may be scarred for life. For real.
