Tue., Apr. 26 was our annual online spring fundraiser, #KeepJobsiteRocking. Over the course of the 24-hour event we raised $31,716 from the public, breaking our single-day fundraising record set this time last year of $31,130.
We can still add on to that total through our silent auction, scheduled to end Thu., Apr. 29, at 11:45 pm. We have theater experiences, custom jewelry, and fine art all donated by members of the ensemble! Check it out, and get your bids in!
We are now 49% to our 2021 Annual Campaign goal. If you missed the event and would still like to contribute, your gifts are still needed.
Our Annual Campaign generates critical funds that help us continue to increase artist pay by removing all overhead costs from show budgets — allowing all of the money from tickets pay the artists and hard costs of the show (costumes, sets, royalties, etc). The Annual Campaign also generates funds that help cover losses in a time like this and, hopefully when things return to normal, will allow us to build back up our cash reserves.
If you’re waiting to hear if you won anything in the hourly or daily drawings, please be patient! It’s been a week over here between the event, the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant deadline, the beginning of our next Artistic Associate cycle, and closing Henry V while eyeing the start of Shockheaded Peter rehearsals. We will let folks know soon!
Once again, THANK YOU for your support of Jobsite! <3
