Sun., Nov. 24
The Independent, Seminole Heights, Tampa
Shenanigans start at 6:30, full concert at 8pm!
Join us at one of our favorite neighborhood watering holes (and of our greatest sponsors) for a relaxed, low-key night of fun that doubly benefits Jobsite. A very kind donor has stepped up to match every dollar raised on site that night, and their employer will match that match — THIS MEANS YOUR GIFTS WILL NOW HAVE TRIPLE THE IMPACT. Your $10 turns into $30, $100 becomes $300, and so on.
There is no ticket to the event (or a cover at the door), but we hope that you will consider leaving a donation through one of the many QR codes that will be on site that night, via the “tip jar,” and from the sale of ROCKY HORROR themed t-shirts and stickers. Cash and checks will be collected on site and added with all online donations through our website and Venmo @jobsitetheater made between 6:30 and 9:30pm. Again, everything raised 6:30 – 9:30 on Nov. 24 will be combined and then TRIPLED by our generous benefactor and their employer!
We will kick off the night at 6:30 with a merch and raffle table as well as fun things like a costume contest, photo booth with cast members, and share your RHS story on the mic before the show starts at 8pm when the cast and band from our record-shattering production of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW will gather on the Indie’s patio for a concert version (just the songs, straight through with no dialogue, costumes, or dancing) of the show! We expect things to be wound down by 9:15, 9:30 at the latest!
The Independent boasts a top-notch beer and wine menu, as well as delightful dishes from their kitchen. Eat, drink, and be merry with us as we do the Time Warp again! Since there is no official ticket and seating is first-come, we recommend arriving early if you want to be sure you have a spot.
The Independent will have a DJ spinning in the afternoon, and the day should be gorgeous, so get out there!
This TWO FOR ONE match is a significant opportunity for us as we try to make our end-of-year fundraising goal and survive a climate of gubernatorial funding-cuts and the loss of revenue from back-to-back hurricanes. Please consider attending!
Remember, too, that our final party of the year is Dec. 7, Jobsite Rocks!, at the New World Music Hall!
