Due to unforeseen challenges with the event and our very full production schedule closing The Underpants simultaneously with opening LIZZIE, we have made the difficult decision to push back the Jobsite “Not-a-Gala” scheduled for Sat., Oct. 8 in the Jaeb Theater. Ticket buyers will be contacted about rescheduling or refunds.
From Producing Artistic Director David M. Jenkins, “I hate to do it but know it’s the right thing. We’re thrilled to have started the 2016-17 season with such a huge success in The Underpants (closing Oct. 2), our best selling opener in four years, and are stoked to offer the Florida premiere of LIZZIE in just a few weeks (first preview is Oct. 12). I’m thankful that we caught it now so that everyone has time to plan accordingly. We look forward to announcing the new date of our most important fundraising event of the year as soon as we get confirmation from the Straz. We’ll still have the same guests of honor in Paul Potenza and New World Brewery’s Steve and Nancy Bird, the silent auction items are locked up and secured, and hopefully our food and drink partners will be able to make the new date work.”
