**UPDATE** Due to the fact that checks are still coming in from the event last weekend, we’ve now topped over $7,000 raised in honor of our 10th birthday. HOLY COW! THANK YOU!
Thanks to the generosity to everyone who attended Jobsite’s Rockin’ 10th Birthday Party, bought raffle tickets and pulled me aside in good-old fashioned sub rosa fashion to put a check in my hand – we pulled in over $6,500 after costs for the night.
That’s another new record. Wowsers.
Thank you for coming.
Thank you also to the bands, Christen Petitt and everyone who donated or acquired raffle prizes for us, to everyone at New World Brewery for having us and everyone from Jobsite who helped work the event.
If you weren’t able to make it and you would still like to contribute before the end of 2008 – you still have a few weeks. Keep in mind that all donations made to Jobsite are fully tax-deductible to the extent provided by law as we are a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit arts organization. You may make your charitable contribution by mailing a check made payable to Jobsite Theater to PO Box 7975 Tampa, FL, 33673-7975 or by giving directly online. There is no such thing as a small gift.
It was a good time. I know Meg Heimstead was snapping photos all night (Thanks, Meg!) – so when I get those I’ll be sure to post.
We’ll be back Jan. 8 with Picasso at the Lapin Agile. There aren’t many tickets left for opening weekend, but you can still get in if you act fast.
