Jobsite’s ALICE was developed first via a spreadsheet that simply listed chapters and characters that we wanted to include. That eventually became an outline that eventually became a finished script. Here’s how we have it laid out. All this in 85 minutes! We note things as a segue which bridge one bit of the story to the next, and even in those we tried our best to only use lines that came from Carroll, usually something in a chapter or storyline we chose not to include (for instance, the Duchess does not appear in our show but many of her lines are spoken in segues).
