Thanks first and foremost thanks for coming out and seeing shows. We don’t discriminate if you pay full price, buy season tickets, wait for student rush or come on a comp ticket that a friend gives you. Butts in seats is the whole reason we are here. Without an audience, we’d just be rehearsing. THANK YOU for making 2010 our best-attended and highest-grossing year, a thing it feels like we’re saying every year – which we’re totally ok with. 🙂
Thanks also for helping us out by passing us on to your friends through your conversations, emails, social networking sites and so on.
Thank you for giving to Jobsite. It may have just been $1 at the table in front of the theater or the purchase of Pericles merchandise or a $500 donation to our Kickstarter project for Mindgame, but you helped us raise a record total of donations again in 2010. It is allowing us to keep our ticket prices low while increasing our production values and payment to our artists.
We are also deeply thankful for our talented, relentless ensemble of artists who make Jobsite mighty. In 2010 they have amazed us with six great mainstage shows, a remount of Pericles that afforded us our first official Off-Broadway run, countless side projects and staged readings, not to mention their acts as ambassadors for us around the area. Tampa Bay is lucky to have so many with so much talent and dedication.
There is still time to give to Jobsite in 2010. You may stop by the Jobsite Rocks VII fundraiser at New World Brewery on Sat., Dec. 4. We’ve got three great bands and a ton of great raffle prizes in store. If you can’t make that, checks may be made payable to Jobsite Theater and mailed to P.O. Box 7975 Tampa, FL, 33673-7975, or donations may be made directly through jobsitetheater.org. Every cent matters. Truly.
You may also still purchase a mini season ticket package for the four remaining shows on our 10-11 schedule. They are just $78.40 per person (20% off) and may be ordered by calling 813.229.7827. We’re anticipating a sold-out run for The Odd Couple, a show that’s already filling up fast and that’s almost three months away. Take advantage!
All of us at Jobsite have a lot to be thankful for this year. We hope that you have the time to reflect on the things that you’re thankful for, too. Why not let those people know how much they mean to you? 2010 has proven several times over how precious our time can be. Make it count.
