The Jobsite Theater board of directors has issued a public challenge to help us finish out the first quarter of 2018’s Annual Campaign successfully, offering up a collective $4,175 in matching funds. The Gobioff Foundation has matched the funds offered by the board, creating an even stronger 2 to 1 match for the next $4,175 in donations that come in. This means if we can find community support to get us up to the $4,175 mark the 2:1 match gives us a grand total $12,525 toward our 2018 goal of $75,000. You give $10? We get $30. You give $500? We get $1,500. If you have not yet seen our new donor tiers and benefits, take a look.
We have faced a lot of financial adversity over the past six months, and we truly need your support more than ever. Hurricane Irma got the season off to a very soggy start to the tune of a $10,000 loss, The Threepenny Opera was plagued by production issues that forced us to overspend far past our budget (which was not recuperable through ticket sales), and an unexpected loss of grant funds for educational programming surrounding The Tempest and 1984 has left us scrambling to make up $25,000 to provide in-class education and in-theater access to middle and high schoolers.
