We’re happy to announce the acting apprentices for our January production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It! These apprentices will work under director David Jenkins and “text-pert” Giles Davies while also serving as swing understudies as needed during the rehearsal process. They join a blockbuster cast including Becca McCoy (Duke Senior/Duke Frederick), Emily Belvo (Rosalind), Derrick Phillips (Orlando), Lauren Field (Celia), Roxanne Fay (Touchstone), Katrina Stevenson (Audrey, et al), Shawn Paonessa (Jaques), Michael C. McGreevy (Sylvius, et al), Jessy Quinones (Phoebe, et al), Alvin Jenkins (Corin, et al), Jordan Foote (Oliver, et al), and Spencer Meyers (Amiens, et al).
Thomas Morgan is excited to start his acting apprenticeship with Jobsite Theater. Thomas is a recent graduate from the University of South Florida, where he majored in Theater Performance. He was also part of the American Theatre Wing’s 2016 Springboard program where he got to work with professionals like Peter Francis James, Liel Tommy, Nelson Eusebio and then attend the 70th Annual Tony Awards. Thomas can currently be seen in American Stage’s School Tour as George in George’s Marvelous Medicine as well as Sam in Hat Trick Theatre’s Wait Until Dark. Thomas would like to thank David Jenkins and Jobsite for the opportunity to continue his growth as an artist and go on this journey of discovery with such an amazing group of talented artists!
Madison Flynn is a recent high school graduate from the Canterbury School of Florida; she plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in theatre. Recent shows include Anything Goes (Hope Harcourt), The Mystery of Edwin Drood, A Streetcar Named Desire (Stella Kowalski), Oklahoma! (Gertie), and The Pirates of Penzance. She is a 2016 Suncoast Theatre Award nominee (Best Supporting Actress in a Drama) for her role in Streetcar at the Francis Wilson Playhouse. She would like to thank David Jenkins for this awesome opportunity to delve into the world of Shakespeare, as well as her family for their unwavering support.
