Dorian Blaine Connors is originally from Hutchinson, KS, and is a Bachelor of Arts candidate studying Stage Management at the University of Florida. Dorian’s home is Tampa where she graduated Cum Laude from Tampa Preparatory School. A Broadway Star of the Future Best Actress Nominee for her role as The Witch in Into the Woods, Dorian has vocal, acting, and dance experience both on and off stage. Dorian’s passion for performing arts grew to a deeper yearning to support the artistic process, production, and community engagement through the pursuit of professional stage management. Now entering her third year at the University of Florida, Dorian is recognized by faculty and peers as a talented leader in the School of Theatre and Dance based on her strong work ethic, sense of humor, and devotion to artistic agency and equity. Dorian served as an audition assistant for Rhinoceros (UF 2021), Cabaret (UF 2022), Reader’s Theatre Festival (UF 2023), and Blood at the Root (UF 2023). Dorian has also served as a set design and construction crew member for Marisol (UF 2022), as well as the sound board and projections operator for the BFA Dance Showcase (UF 2022). Most recently, Dorian was the stage manager for Into the Breeches (UF 2023). Dorian is excited to gain experience in the professional theater world and is honored to be a part of the LIZZIE production team!
