Joe Popp has been in bands since the 80’s and a rock theater composer since 1994. Composition credits include: In The Bubble and What Then? (Rinne Groff), Whirligig and Why the Y in Ybor? (Mac Wellman), Maxwell and JY2K (Jobsite Theater), and Macbeth (American Stage in the Park). He also composed music for the Jobsite’s productions of Embedded, Murder Ballads and The History of the Devil.
The independent, not-for-profit theater company in residence at the Shimberg Playhouse at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, Tampa.
