Parker J. Wilkson
Parker is a classically trained pianist who merges diverse musical styles though still only in his teens. He has accompanied numerous classical and jazz musicians and an award winning chorus in various competitions.He has performed on piano and keyboards professionally in a wide variety of musical productions, such as Gorey Stories, Nunsense, Showstoppers, Grease, Westside Story, Little Shop of Horrors, and Normal the Musical, at Tampa’s Straz Center for the Performing Arts with Jobsite Theatre, MAD Theatre and Patel Conservatory. Additionally, Parker writes and composes original music as the lead singer, guitarist, and pianist in his Alternative rock band The Infinite Eights. The band was recently featured on Fox News and can be heard playing professional venues throughout the area including the opening act during last year’s Gasparilla Music Festival. Parker has also performed in Raymond James Stadium with a featured rock band in “Symphony under the Stars,” opening for the Florida Orchestra in 2012. Parker was named Patel Conservatory’s spotlight award winner in Music (2013), and a media outlet mentioned him as one of the Bay area’s “musicians to watch.”
