We are happy to present our first Job-side Project of 2008 in David Henry Hwang’s Bondage, in conjunction with the newly formed Asian Pacific American Scene, Inc. (APASI). Bondage runs Jan. 13-15 at 7:30pm in the Shimberg Playhouse at TBPAC.
Tickets are just $5 at the door, and FREE for all Jobsite Theater season ticket holders. Season tickets holders should email us and RSVP so that we can leave your name on the list at the door.
This production features long-time Jobsite ensemble member Nevada Caldwell (A Girl’s Guide to Chaos, MAXWELL, Murder Ballads, Delusion of Darkness) and Hat Trick stalwart Jonathan Cho. It is directed by Ami Sallee Corley, who has been cited as Best Director and Best Actress in Creative Loafing’s annual Best of the Bay Awards. She directed Jobsite’s productions of Cloud Nine and last season’s This is How it Goes, both which were named to the Creative Loafing Top 10 list. Cloud Nine was also chosen as Best Play that season.
If you want to come see Eleemosynary on Jan. 13, you’d have about 2 hours afterwards until the curtain of Bondage, just enough time to go grab a drink or two at The Hub or a quick meal from Fly!
Our previous Job-side Projects of The House of Yes and See Bob Run were great successes, please come check out this great work by some of areas brightest!
