I’m not normally one to share reviews of other productions of plays that we’re doing, but this Variety review of the original Ars Nova production of boom! captures what I believe to be the real heart of this piece.
I fell in love with the script on the first read. On Wed. night I watched my first rehearsal of our production and was very encouraged as to what’s going to be given to local audiences next week. This is a thoughtful and bawdy, smutty and sweet show that rings at a primal level underneath the gut-busting laughs.
