When we began talk of Jobsite in the fall of 1998, we were greatly inspired by artist-centered organizations like Steppenwolf Theatre Company and Berliner Ensemble. The original draft of our mission statement said that we hoped to attract like-minded artists to create a home where they could experiment, hone, and practice their respective crafts in a professional laboratory environment. Almost 22 years later and we are still committed to that approach. Here is ensemble Tatiana Baccari on why that is important to her.

If you enjoy this content while the theater is shut down amid the coronavirus crisis, we urge you to leave a “tip” by donating any amount whatsoever. Every $1 counts at a time like this. Whatever we raise now while we cannot earn through ticket sales (where 65% of our annual revenue comes from) will help ensure that once we re-open we won’t skip a beat.
