It’s safety-first for Jobsite Theater and the Straz Center. Current models and forecasts predict sustained winds of 40+MPH on Saturday (increasing on Sunday), and we don’t want you (or our people) out on the roads in that mess, even for this really awesome play. Both of these performances (Sep. 9-10) of The Flick have therefore been cancelled.
If you have tickets to either of those performances, exchanging them should be at the very bottom of your to-do list, and we want to make it easy. Customer service agents from the Straz Center Ticket Sales Office will be giving you a call to place you into another performance. If you’ve got bigger fish to fry and can’t decide right now, get back with us next week, and we’ll take care of you. In addition to the regular Thursday-through-Sunday performance schedule for The Flick through Sep. 24, we are also adding a Wednesday performance on Sep. 20 to hopefully give folks one more opportunity to take in this critically-acclaimed production of a Pulitzer Prize winning play.
If you’re around tonight (Thu.) or Fri., we’re still on stage. Use the code POPCORN and get in for just $15. We’d love to see you and give you a few hours of distraction!
Stay safe out there.
