Where Your Money Goes
Every year we grow, and every year we reach a little further with what we do. We mean it when we say that no donation is too small to make a difference. We conserve to the best of our abilities and use all of our resources to their fullest extent, but there is always a need. With every dollar you donate, we will be able to provide more for our artists, increase our production values and build a foundation to ensure we are here for many, many years to come.
If you'd like to sponsor a show, or a particular part of a show or even a performer – we can make that happen. E-mail us or call 813.222.1092 to learn more. If you'd like to contribute right now, simply click the PayPal button on the left. It's safe, fast and free! If you do not wish to make an online donation, you may donate by standard mail.
Here is a sample breakdown of exactly how donations help us:
$10
- Food and drink props (think sodas, bags of chips or other things specifically called for in a script) used on stage for a single performance.
- Xerox costs for producing contracts, schedules, contact sheets, scripts etc.
- There is no such thing as a small gift! Please consider a donation today! We need your help more than ever!
$25
- Lighting gels (colors) and gobos (filters) for a production.
- Sound expenses (batteries, blank cd's or minidisks) for a production.
$50
- A one-night royalty for some shows.
- A cast and crew meal for a 2-show day.
- A PR blast to all of the regional media outlets letting them know about our upcoming production.
$100
- Acts as a weekly base guarantee for an artist on some productions.
- Covers the subsidized rent of our scenic shop and storage area for one month.

$250
- A prop budget for a typical production.
- The entire production costs (set, lights, props, sound and costumes) on a low-needs show.
- A reception to follow one of our productions.
- A 1-week salary for a union actor (Actors Equity Association). We typically rehearse 3 to 6 weeks and perform for another 3 per production. Currently, finances prohibit Jobsite from often hiring AEA actors because of this high cost.
